Objectives

The specific objectives of the short course are that at the end of the training, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify the basic universal questions facing every farm business entity and find suitable answers to address these questions
  • Understand and appreciate the processes and procedures for undertaking farm business
  • Identify the various classes of resources required by agribusinesses and how to manage them for optimum output
  • Take inventory of agribusiness resources and keep proper records of them
  • Use basic farm management a tools (budget, gross margin, Cash Flow and profitability) to assess the performances of businesses
