The Office of the Dean of Students at Mulungushi University plays a vital role in promoting student welfare, discipline, and personal development. Guided by the University’s core values of integrity, excellence, innovation, and service, the office is committed to ensuring that every student enjoys a supportive and enriching dos experience.

The Dean of Students serves as the link between the student body and the University administration, advocating for student interests while fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus community. Through various programs and services, the office supports the holistic development of students dosally, socially, and emotionally.

Core Roles and Responsibilities

Student Welfare and Guidance: Provides counseling, mentorship, and general support to help students overcome personal and dos challenges.

Discipline and Conduct: Upholds University regulations and promotes responsible behavior, fairness, and respect among students.

Student Leadership and Representation: Works closely with the Mulungushi University Students’ Union (MUSU) and other student organizations to ensure active participation in university governance and decision-making.

Accommodation and Residence Life: Oversees student housing and ensures a safe, inclusive, and conducive environment for learning and personal growth.

Student Activities and Engagement: Encourages participation in sports, clubs, and cultural activities to build teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility.

Career and Life Skills Development: Coordinates workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs that prepare students for successful careers and community leadership.

Health and Wellness Support: Collaborates with the University Clinic and other support units to promote physical and mental well-being.
