School of Natural and Applied Sciences

The School of Natural and Applied Sciences (SNAS) spans an entire range of scientific teaching and research, from pure and fundamental discovery that advances our understanding of the world around us to the direct application of science and technology which transforms and improves lives as well as sustaining the environment. The school produces graduates at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels who do not only understand science but are relevant to industry as well. 

The school consists of three departments namely: Department of Physics, Department of Mathematics and Statistics as well as the Department of Chemistry and Biology, with a total of nine (9) programmes. The school is also teaching foundation sciences for pre-medicine and pre-engineering students.
